The Nigerian Metro Akron Association was founded in 2005 by a group of Nigerian immigrants who wanted to create a support network and celebrate their rich cultural heritage. Today, we have grown into a thriving community with over 500 members from various Nigerian states and ethnic groups.
We are a vibrant community of Nigerians living in Akron, Ohio and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to promote Nigerian culture, provide support services, and foster connections among our diverse members.
